Lieber Max-Albert,

an uns.

Dear Max-Albert,
Of course, I’m glad to agree to testify about your stay in Ann Arbor. In order to be able to answer any questions precisely, I would suggest that you inform me and Professor Thomassen about the dates of your stay and your local addresses here. You are sometimes asked if you have visited the person in question in his home. It is wonderful that things are progressing.
I would also like to ask you about the following situation. To date, we have not received an answer to the Air Mail Special Delivery letter that we asked you to put in the mailbox after your visit with us on the evening of Thursday, March 4th, although the individuals concerned usually reply immediately. One possibility is that our letter did not reach the lawyer and we wrote to him again three days ago.
If you accidentally still have the letter (absent-mindedness can happen to those who are in a hurry), we would be grateful if you could send it back to us.

It contained a very important document, and it would be difficult to obtain it again.
Warm regards from our home to yours,
K. Fajans
