Lieber Max!
Bestes Vaterle!
Bitte gebt beiliegenden Brief an Charl. u. Dr. Rosenberg weiter.

Dear Max and Father,
Please forward the enclosed letter to Charlotte and Dr. Rosenberg. We haven't written for a long time but hope we can tell you something positive soon. At the moment, we are extremely anxious whether everything will still work out. It is unfortunate that the agency in Lisbon “Antures” (representative of American Lloyd) does not respond. Moreover, it seems that our reservations have not yet been conveyed to Compania nacionale de Navegacao. This is probably why the Portuguese consul is unable to issue visas. Hopefully, it will have worked out long before you receive this letter. I really hope that we’ll be reunited soon.
Warmly,
Marianne
We just received a telegram from Solis stating that Navegacao confirms that new regulations are delaying processing by the consul.
Is Solis Bill H’s company?
