Wirtin Frau Neumann, die Doch bestens grüßen läßt. Die Nummer für die U.S.A sollen jetzt mancher aufgerufen werden, aber bei der Höhe der unsrigen wird es wohl noch 2 Jahre mindestens dauern. Vielleicht ziehen wir bald nach K. zurück zu meinem Schwager. Schreibe etwas mehr von Dir. U. sei innigst gegrüßt von Viktor u. Deiner Marianne.

Liebes Jungel! Deine lieben Karten vom 22. X u. 8. XI habe ich erhalten. Hast Du meine Karten vom 4. u. 5. Nov. erhalten? Ich habe lange nichts geschrieben, da wir viel unterwegs waren. Zuerst haben wir Vater begleitet, dann waren wir 8 Tage zu Hause, dann kurz in Hannover u. jetzt für ein paar Tage in Berlin. Unsere Post erreicht uns aber immer vorläufig über Bleicherode, wohin wir bald wiederzurückkehren. Von Vater höre ich öfters, aber doch immer recht wenig. Ich kann es leider gar nicht beurteilen, ob es richtig ist, daß Vater – wenn es überhaupt mögl. ist – jetzt bald nach U.S.A. kommt. 1. Wegen der gefährlichen Überfahrt u. 2. ob er dort richtige Pflege hat. – Hoffentlich geht es ihm ordentlich. Leider weiß ich ja fast gar nichts davon. Uns geht es gut. Today, I coincidentally met your former landlady, Mrs. Neumann, who says hello. The numbers for the U.S.A are now to be called up for some. However, given our high number, it will probably take at least another two years. Maybe we'll move back in with my brother-in-law in Karlsruhe soon. Write us a bit more about you.

Dear Lad,
I received your nice postcards from October 22nd and November 8th. Did you receive my postcards from November 4th and 5th? I haven’t written in a long time because we were traveling a lot. First, we accompanied Father and then we were home for eight days. We were then briefly in Hannover and now we are in Berlin for a few days. However, for the time being, our mail always reaches us in Bleicherode. We will soon return there. I often hear from Father, but he doesn’t have much news. Unfortunately, I can't ascertain how Father is doing right now and if it’s possible for him to come to the U.S.A soon. On the one hand, his trip was dangerous and on the other hand, I don’t know whether he has proper care there. I hope he is doing well. Unfortunately, I know almost nothing about it. We're fine.
