Dear Professor,
The archive would like to sincerely thank you for donating copies of your obituary, as well as your copy of the 1909 letter to the Nobel Committee with your compelling and superb estimation of my father’s legacy.
You will be glad to hear that my 85-year-old mother is still quite sprightly. She sometimes manages the 10-minute walk to my father's urn site along the rocky cliff

I hope things are going well for you, too, despite the adversities of fate.
My mother has given up writing altogether. She says hello through me.
