Lieber Max!

You are hopefully doing well too! Aunt Ida returns home on Friday morning.
Warm regards,
Father
When you send a telegram (N.L.J) at night to the USA, it is relatively inexpensive (about 8 Reichsmarks).

Dear Max,
I just received a copy of Mr. Fajans’ letter that he also sent to you in Berlin on July 11. I hope the letter was forwarded to you. It looked very important. Please let me know if you have received it. Otherwise, there is nothing new to report. The newlyweds are in B.B and appear to be doing well. I am in good health.

*Otherwise, if you would like, I will send you the copy.
