Selfhelp of Emigres from Central Europe, Inc. was founded in 1936 by German Jews in New York to support new immigrants fleeing persecution in Nazi-occupied Europe. This informational pamphlet provides an overview of information about the founders, employees, work, and need for contributions of Selfhelp. Today, the foundation still exists as Selfhelp Community Services.
