Black and white portrait of Paul Pfeiffer (1875-1951). Pfeiffer was a German organic and inorganic chemist who studied under Alfred Werner (1866-1919) at the University of Zurich. Throughout his life, he was a professor at the University of Zurich, University of Rostock, the Technische Houchschule in Karlsruche, and the University of Bonn.
