Lieber Max-Albert!
Dear Max Albert,
Enclosed, I am sending you the items that you requested when you spoke with Viktor on the telephone today:
1) List of stocks in your Straus & Co. account with today's price calculation
2) Statement of your 1,000 Reichsmarks in the Reich Debt Book. If possible, please return this to me.
With regards to #1, it should be noted that you really only have 862 Reichsmarks remaining of German redemption certificates and not the value stated in the list that I recently sent to you. 1062 Reichsmarks – 200 Reichsmarks have recently been drawn.
As soon as possible, please confirm my letter from today, Mx. 30, as well as this one.
I was very shocked that Dr. Ludwigo passed away yesterday.
There is nothing else to report.
Warm regards,
Father
