Card with a portrait and thank you note from Carl Duisberg (1861-1935), in which Duisberg thanks his friends and family for wishing him well on his seventieth birthday. Duisburg was the CEO of Bayer AG from 1900 until 1912, when he became the Managing Director of the company. Duisburg later worked with Carl Bosch (1874-1940) to found I.G. Farbenindustrie AG.
