The postcard features an image of the Veit L. Homburger bank, founded by Veit Löw Homburger (1810–1878). Marrianne Homburger's husband, Viktor Homburger (1888-1968), was Veit's grandson. As the Homburger family was Jewish, the Nazi party boycotted the bank. The bank was liquidated in 1939.

Thank you for your card from July 12th. I hope you are doing well despite the situation and traveling. We don’t have any news. We keep waiting. The children cheerfully write to us. The two youngest are the best in their 2A class. Father is quite happy at the moment. Stay healthy and write soon, even thought we are not presently motivated to do so. Warm regards.
