Letter to the editor of the New York Times written by Lion Feuchtwanger (1884-1958). Feuchtwanger criticizes the treatment of enemy aliens in the United States.

Feauchtwanger was a Jewish novelist and playwright. His works, which criticized Nazi policies, made him a target by the Nazi Party. In 1941, after fleeing to France, he was granted political asylum and moved the Los Angeles.
