Dear Max-Albert,
Enclosed is a copy of Professor Clark’s letter. A letter from Mr. Reis, dated October 21st, also arrived today. Among other things, he asks for a letter of recommendation from your father. I’ll come back to it. I don’t want to delay sending the enclosed copy.
