Sehr geehrter Herr Kollege!
B. Rathke.

Dear Colleague,
Please be so kind as to send the enclosed card to your mother, whose address I am unsure of. My wife and I were very pleased to meet the lovely woman here and hope that her health, which was not entirely satisfactory, has improved since then.
I had a hoped that you would be here one day and that I would have the opportunity to meet you, and I regret that it did not happen.
Sincerely,
B. Rathke
