Lieber Max!
Wir sind wieder in Bleicherode. Vater ist nun in Utrecht. Hoffentlich schreibst Du ihn oft und kümmerst Du auch sonst um ihn. Es ist uns der Abschied unendlich schwer geworden. Vor einiger Zeit schrieb mir Frau Henry Dora. Vielleicht hat Vater Lust, sich einmal bei Prof. “Peter Müller telefonisch anzumelden mit Beziehung auf die zwischen dessen Mutter (Frau Professor Müller-Munk) u. mir geführten Korrespondenz. Herr Prof. Müller, den ich persönlich blos aus seinem 3. Lebensjahr kenne, also nicht kenne) wohnt in Pittsburgh, 6615 Darlington Rd. (Telefon: 0752).” Von uns gibt es nichts

Dear Max,
We are in Bleicherode again. Father is now in Utrecht. I hope you write to him often and also take care of him. Saying goodbye was incredibly difficult for us. Some time ago, Mrs. Henry Dora wrote to me. Perhaps Father would like to call Professor Peter Müller sometime and mention the correspondence between his mother (Frau Professor Müller-Munk) and myself. Professor Müller, whom I have personally known since the age of three, i.e. do not know) lives in Pittsburgh at 6615 Darlington Rd. (Telephone: 0752).
