Sehr geehrte Herr College!

Dear Colleague,
I just remembered that I forgot to mention that I published the same thing in a slightly different version in the Journal of Physical Chemistry in 1896. It was in the first issue, which appeared in October or November of 1896 . Your justified analysis from 1897 would have come too late. I have read your new work on this subject with great interest.
Best regards,
F. Wald
