Third edition volume of Spectrum Analysis by Henry Enfield Roscoe (1833-1915) with numerous engravings and colored plates. Roscoe has included a series of six lectures on the subject of spectrum analysis with appendices, for which he hopes these principle memoirs will "prove interesting to all, as it will certainly be useful to those specially engaged in scientific inquiry..." These lectures were delivered in 1868 to the Society of Apothecaries of London, extant today as one of the largest livery companies of the City of London.
Digitized content includes the work's covers, front matter, and select illustrations.
