H. Jermain Creighton, a chemistry professor at Swarthmore College, writes to Max Bredig (1902-1977) with concern for his father, Georg Bredig (1868-1944). Creighton and his colleagues who studied with Georg discussed ways to help Georg immigrate from Germany under worsening conditions for Jewish people during the Third Reich.
