Collected by O. Theodor Benfey, this archival collection includes 21 autographed letters by many eminent chemists of the 20th century. The collection includes letters from several Nobel laureates including Roald Hoffmann, Linus Pauling, Robert B. Woodward, and Peter Debye. A portion of the collection has been digitized and is available online.
