Collected by Raymond Szymanowitz, this collection of 54 pieces of correspondence include signatures of some of the greatest minds in 19th- and 20th-century chemistry, including but not limited to, Humphry Davy, Michael Faraday, Joseph Priestley, Marie Curie, and Justus Liebig. One letter written by Joseph Fourier is in French, and another written by Liebig is in German. The remaining letters are all written in English. A portion of the collection has been digitized and is available online.
