A group photograph of the attendees of Otto Bütschli's (1848-1918) 70th birthday party. Johann Adam Otto Bütschli was a German zoologist and professor at the University of Heidelberg. He specialized in invertebrates and insect development. Many of the groups of protists were first recognized by him.
