Letter to Otto Haas (1872-1960) informing him of a child in his family who has fallen ill.

Otto Haas founded Rohm & Haas in 1909. John C. Haas started working at Rohm & Haas in 1942. After his father's death in 1960, Haas became executive vice president, and his brother F. Otto Haas became president and chief executive officer. He continued to work as chairman, and then on the board, until 1988.
