Letter from Phoebe Waterman Haas (1882-1967) to Otto Haas (1872-1960).

Phoebe Waterman Haas was one of the first American women to earn her doctorate in astronomy in 1913. After graduating, she was appointed as an assistant to the Argentine National Observatory in Córdoba, Argentina. The two were married on February 22, 1914.
