Right-side electronic configuration series table symmetrical about a horizontal line
- 1926 (Original design)
- Circa 1957 (Date attributed to slide)
Graphic representation of the periodic table of chemical elements designed as a right-side electronic configuration series table symmetrical about a horizontal line. This table was originated by Italian chemists Luigi Rolla and Giorgio Piccardi (1895-1972) in 1926 and classified by chemist Edward G. Mazurs as Subtype IIIC4-2a in his seminal work Types of Graphic Representation of the Periodic System of Chemical Elements (1957). A version of this illustration appears as Figure 91 on page 155 of Mazurs' 1957 publication.
