1961 postage stamp from Suriname featuring an illustration of coconuts (Cocos nucifera). In Suriname, every part of the coconut is used in home remedies and holistic medicine. Tea is made from coconut husks to treat hypertension, respiratory issues, and diabetes. Coconut oil and coconut water is used to treat skin conditions, therapeutic baths, and hair care.
