Case opens to reveal thick glass microscope slide with a rectangular indentation that creates a chamber. This chamber is engraved with a grid of perpendicular lines as well as the depth, maker name, and origin.

Case also includes: two black plastic [Bakelite?] pipette closures, two pipettes, two rubber stoppers (for the pipettes), long rubber tubing with a red stopper on one end and a white stopper on the other end. Rubber tubing is fragile and broken in multiple pieces.

Inside cover of case holds: needle, two microscope slides, green booklet of gauze, two loose pieces of gauze.
