- 1927-May-02
Georg von Hevesy (1885-1966) thanks Georg Bredig (1868-1944) for sending him an offprint. Hevesy has recently moved and expresses his hope to catch up on the coursework that he missed over the last couple of months.

He received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1943 for his contribution to the development of radioactive tracers. Sehr verehrter Herr Kollege!
Hevesy

Dear Colleague,
Your cordial card, as well as the offprint that you kindly sent me, only reached me today after my return from England. I would like to express my appreciation for both. The letter from July of last year must have fallen victim to my move, because I did not receive it. In any case, I sincerely thank you for this.
I would like to visit you during the winter semester, but I'm so busy that I can’t. I hope that I can make up for what I have missed in the course of these past months.
With best regards, I remain yours faithfully,
Hevesy
