Photocopy of Rosalind Franklin's (1920-1958) obituary from The Times, written by her friend and mentor J. D. Bernal (1901-1971). Bernal, director of Birkbeck College's Biomolecular Research Laboratory, invited Franklin to work at Birkbeck College in 1953.
